Sometimes people don't get why you're very much into something.
Until they're in it together with you.
It's really funny how different people are united through that one thing, and stay united to make it happen.
Some things last forever, others just in that particular moment. But what you love and where your interests lie never change. Maybe they'll never come as frequently at one point in your life, but it will forever be imprinted in your heart.
No matter what.
It's not the steps that move you, it's the soul. True, sometimes you slip out of place. Trip, fall and bleed. But if there's one thing that keeps you going, it's the impact of knowing you can do whatever you want and enjoy it - when you learn to love and feel the joy accomplishing that moment whole-heartedly.
Backstage, it's all hustle and bustle. From where I come from, the dancers have a sense of honesty. They scold you when you're wrong, right to your face. But it's admirable. Sometimes you think, do I really suck that much? Then, you actually find out that you do, and that flaw leads to a discovery of inner determination and uncovering the fact that Hey, I need to do better. It's all about that one second that you cry because you failed, and the next hour that you get up, wipe the tears off your cheeks and punch your ego right where it hurts- and give it your all.
One thing that the cat's never gonna let out of the bag is that:
The smiles don't come as easy as it is.
It's tedious work going up the ladder. It's where you find that there's a lot to fix. How your hands move, where your feet go. There's a technique in every step there is, and a meaning beneath every motion your body makes. It's gonna have to convey a message, and if the audience don't get it, it's over. It's an instant no show, an immediate disappointment.
But after every show, good or bad, we always seem to find a bright side. We laugh it off once the curtains close, and set off to another practice. With hopes in our hearts and mistakes needed to be improved. Disappointing as it may be after a bad show, it's always contenting to go back and review those moments with the Jiwa Taris, and be the bomb in times to come.
We move to the music, sway to the feelings and emotions. Smile when we need to, play hard when we need to. Family matters, and family to me is the Jiwa Tari.
Other people share our moments too, and we're more than glad to have them share it with us :)
I love dancing, and I love the people who share the same interests with me. When something is planted deep in your heart and soul, you never let it go. Ever. No matter what.
I admit, sometimes I get a li'l bit out of focus, actually a lot. Haha. But I love what I do, and I love where it's taken me.
I don't care if traditional dances are age-old in this modern era. I honestly think it should be appreciated and incorporated nowadays. Cultures are fascinating to study.
Please do study them.
Embrace traditional cultures.

Kaleidoscope of Craziness
I write to change, to express, to share. All pictures are mine, unless stated. Enjoy roaming around ;) Some people are destined to sing. To act. To host a talk show. To become a songwriter for recording artistes. To take phenomenal pictures from around the world. To teach. To heal and to nurse. To be in an orchestra or to play an instrument by the streets to entertain the weary passerbys. Everyone is destined to be an individual who'll change the lives of others someday in their own unique way to touch hearts and heal broken ones. Everyone has a destiny, a road to walk and a path to remember when you're old and sitting by the fireplace, reminiscing the old times. I believe mine, is to write. FOLLOW INSTAGRAM TWITTER Tweets
